What is SELT?
A Secure English Language Test (SELT) is a UK Home Office approved English test required for many UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) applications — including work, study, family, settlement, and citizenship routes. Only tests taken at an authorised SELT centre are accepted as proof of English language ability.
Skills for English: SELT, delivered by PSI Services in partnership with the UK Home Office, assesses speaking, listening, reading, and writing at the CEFR levels required for your visa category — from A1 and A2 through B1 and beyond. The test is taken on computer under strictly controlled, secure conditions, and results are issued directly to UKVI standards.
